Bank of America employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event in New York, New York
The Build-A-Bike® event created a unique opportunity for Bank of America’s TAPs program participants and their mentors to connect outside the typical work environment. Despite the smaller-than-anticipated turnout, the energy and enthusiasm remained high as the 21 attendees engaged in the bike-building challenges. The more intimate setting allowed for deeper connections between the recent college graduates and their mentors, fostering meaningful relationships that will continue to benefit them throughout their careers at Bank of America.
During the event, teams collaborated to assemble bicycles while participating in activities designed to enhance communication and problem-solving skills. The recent graduates demonstrated creativity and teamwork as they worked alongside their mentors, sharing knowledge and building confidence in their abilities. Though smaller in scale than originally planned, the event’s impact remained significant as participants contributed to a worthy cause while strengthening their professional bonds.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bank of America and their TAPs program participants for their generous donation to children in need. We also thank Bronx Connect for their commitment to serving the community and ensuring these bicycles reach deserving children in the Bronx.
