Direct Travel Team Gathers for Annual Meeting and Hosts a Bike Build Team Building Event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Following sessions focused on growth and expansion, the group shifted gears into the Build-A-Bike® challenge. With the upcoming plant launch on the horizon, collaboration already felt like a theme of the day. Teams formed quickly and worked through a series of challenges to earn the parts needed to assemble their bikes. Departments mixed, regions blended, and the competitive pace kept everyone engaged.
The ballroom at The Bellevue Hotel offered a historic backdrop while the activity moved fast. Teams compared progress, adjusted plans, and pushed toward the finish. The format encouraged quick thinking and practical teamwork without feeling like another breakout session.
Once the final bikes were assembled, representatives from Not My Child Inc. stepped forward to accept the donation. They spoke clearly about their mission and showed up reliably, even on a cold, late evening. The completed bikes lined up across the room served as a visible result of the group’s collaboration. The activity fit naturally into a meeting centered on forward momentum and expansion.
We thank Direct Travel and Creative Group for adding a hands-on element to their annual gathering. We also appreciate Not My Child Inc. for the work they do for youth in Philadelphia.
