Duperon Charity Bike Build in Saginaw

duperon-charity-bike-build-saginawDuperon Corporation rounded up 90 employees from across the Midwest for a day at their Saginaw facility. Nobody quite knew what they were walking into. Leadership had arranged a charity bike build as the main event. The reaction from the moment it started made clear that the choice paid off. Teams dove into trivia challenges, raced to collect bike parts, and turned a room full of curious coworkers into a full-blown competitive showdown. By the end, 11 bikes were heading to kids in the Saginaw community.

The Saginaw-based company serves municipal and industrial customers across multiple industries, including flood control, food and beverage, and power generation. Duperon Corporation Turns Their Midwest Company Gathering into a Charity Bike Build in Saginaw, Michigan

Nobody was completely sure what to expect when they walked through the door. That changed the second the Build-A-Bike® challenges kicked off. Teams launched into the trivia rounds with serious intent, and the competition took off faster than anyone anticipated. Some groups were so sharp that they had cleared their puzzles before others had even finished reading them.

The result was exactly the kind of controlled chaos that makes the Build-A-Bike® event great. Bike parts were flying across tables, teams were strategizing out loud, and the whole facility sounded like game day. One team ran the table and finished their bicycle in record time. Throughout the afternoon, employees from different locations and departments who had never worked side by side were suddenly fully locked in together.

When the bikes were finished, 11 of them went to local kids in Saginaw who may not have had a bike of their own otherwise. For a group that started the day with a healthy dose of uncertainty, that ending hit differently. What they thought might be a standard company event turned into one of the better days they had spent together as a team.

A big thank you to Duperon Corporation for trusting us with their team and for giving back to the kids in their own backyard. Events like this one are a reminder of why we do what we do.

Want to bring a big group together and send them home with a story worth telling? A charity bike build might be exactly what you need.
