Wells Fargo Leaders Build Bikes for Charity Team Building Activity in Scottsdale, Arizona
The Build-A-Bike® setup took full advantage of the outdoor space, with teams spread out against a scenic desert backdrop. Once the challenge began, the group got moving quickly. Teams worked through clues to earn parts, which kept everyone circulating, talking, and figuring things out together. The outdoor setting added a different kind of energy, with plenty of space for teams to strategize and stay engaged.
The activity stayed light and competitive throughout. Some teams jumped ahead early, while others took a more methodical approach to make sure everything came together correctly. There were quick huddles, last-minute adjustments, and plenty of back-and-forth as teams worked toward the finish. As more bikes were completed, the lineup started to grow, giving everyone a clear sense of progress.
By the end of the session, 14 brand-new bicycles were fully assembled and ready for donation to local children. Seeing the finished bikes lined up brought everything together in a simple and tangible way. The combination of teamwork, problem-solving, and a clear end result made the activity a strong addition to the leadership event.
