Adobe Trades Pixels for Pedals at Build-A-Bike in San Francisco

When a tech giant like Adobe decides to swap styluses for screwdrivers, magic happens—and not the Photoshop kind. To cap off a three-day company retreat, 50 Adobe team members dove into a Build-A-Bike in San Francisco, California. The mission? Assemble bikes, spread joy, and give back to the community. What began as a team-building activity quickly turned into a heartfelt, laughter-filled sprint to support local families.

Adobe is a global software company known for Photoshop, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro. They specialize in digital media and marketing solutions. Adobe empowers creators, marketers, and businesses to design, edit, and publish content. Their Creative Cloud and Document Cloud tools support collaboration and innovation. Founded in 1982, Adobe continues to lead in digital experience technology.

Adobe Employees Cap Off Retreat With Amazing Team Building Experience in San Francisco, California.

On day three of their retreat, Adobe’s crew swapped brainstorms for bike parts. Fueled by caffeine and camaraderie, the group split into teams and got to work assembling ten shiny new bicycles. There were puzzles, instructions, teamwork trials, and laughs to be had. However, in true Adobe fashion, creativity reigned. By the end, bikes were built, friendships were fortified, and memories were made.

The best part? This wasn’t just about bikes—it was about making a difference. The completed bikes were donated to Safe and Sound, a nonprofit that’s been lifting up San Francisco families for over 50 years. Their mission? Helping children and parents through tough times with compassion and care. The organization’s representative, Chris, brought energy and elbow grease—renting a U-Haul to ensure the bikes made it safely into the hands (and hearts) of kids in need.

A huge thank you to Adobe for trading code for compassion and proving once again that creativity can be a force for good. And to Safe and Sound, your work in the community continues to inspire.
