Express Employment International Employees Come Together for Build-A-Bike® Event in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The Build-A-Bike® event provided an opportunity for Express Employment International’s alumni to reconnect and strengthen their professional relationships. All while engaging in a meaningful charitable activity! The participants’ cheerful and humorous nature created a lively atmosphere throughout the event. Additionally, there laughter and friendly competition enhanced the team building experience. As they assembled bicycles together, participants were able to demonstrate their problem-solving skills and teamwork in a context outside their usual work environment.
During the event, teams collaborated to assemble bicycles that they later donated to children in need through the local YMCA. The activity highlighted the organization’s values of cooperation and community impact, as the completed bicycles would benefit families unable to afford bicycles for their children. The YMCA representatives were present to accept the bicycles and shared how they would be distributed to families who otherwise wouldn’t have the means to provide this childhood treasure for their children, adding a powerful emotional component to the day’s achievements.
