Astrada Team Members Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in San Francisco, California

The Build-A-Bike® event provided a perfect opportunity for Astrada’s globally distributed team to strengthen connections while making a positive impact. As a relatively young company launched in 2024, bringing together team members from across San Francisco, New York, and various European locations allowed them to build relationships beyond virtual meetings. The stunning waterfront setting of the Argonaut Hotel on Jefferson Street created an inspiring backdrop for this team-building activity.

During the event, Astrada’s team members demonstrated both their competitive drive and collaborative skills as they worked together to assemble bicycles. Despite being from different office locations and potentially different functional areas, participants quickly formed effective teams focused on completing their bikes with precision and care. The international composition of the group brought diverse perspectives to the problem-solving process, mirroring how the company approaches complex challenges in the financial technology space. The event culminated with the donation of four bicycles to Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.), a local organization dedicated to providing fitness opportunities for underprivileged youth in South San Francisco, giving the Astrada team a chance to contribute meaningfully to their host city.

We extend our sincere thanks to Astrada for their generous bicycle donation to youth in need. We’d also like to express our gratitude to Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.) for their important work providing fitness opportunities for underprivileged children in South San Francisco.
