Ninety-six employees from the Work Plan Development and Resource Planning team participated as part of their bi-annual staff meeting. National Grid Employees Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Northboro, Massachusetts
The Build-A-Bike® event provided National Grid’s Work Plan Development and Resource Planning team an opportunity to enhance their communication skills and strengthen their camaraderie. Held during their bi-annual staff meeting, the event was designed to help team members connect on a deeper level. With ninety-six participants, the event emphasized teamwork and problem-solving, as employees worked together to build bicycles.
During the event, teams competed to be the first to correctly assemble a bike. The competitive yet collaborative environment allowed team members to bond and improve their interpersonal skills.
