MIMEDX Sales Team Builds Bikes for Arlington Students During Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Event in Arlington, Texas

To close the Sales Kickoff, the ballroom at the Loews Arlington Hotel turned into a fast-moving bike-building workshop. The 350 participants quickly divided into teams and jumped into the Build-A-Bike® challenge. Instead of simply putting bikes together, teams had to solve clues and complete small challenges to earn the parts they needed. That twist kept everyone moving and talking as groups worked their way toward the finish line.

With so many participants in the room, the energy ramped up fast. Some teams organized themselves like pit crews, while others relied on trial and error to figure things out. Amy led the activity and kept the massive group moving, while Izzy assisted throughout the program. Between strategy discussions, friendly rivalries, and plenty of laughter, the atmosphere felt more like a high-energy workshop than the end of a long meeting day. One by one, completed bikes rolled into the growing lineup at the front of the room.

Once all forty-four bicycles were finished, families from the Arlington ISD Family & Community Engagement Center joined the group for the presentation. Seeing the recipients in person gave everyone a clear picture of where the bikes were headed. One mother addressed the room through a Spanish interpreter and thanked the participants for their generosity. She explained how meaningful the gift would be for her family and offered a blessing to the group. The moment brought a quiet pause to a lively evening as participants realized the direct impact of their work.

We give a big thank you to MIMEDX for their generous donation to families in Arlington. We also appreciate the Arlington ISD Family & Community Engagement Center and Mr. Bass for their partnership and dedication to the community.
