Ivy Rehab hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team retreat in Philadelphia, PA on March 4th during their 2026 Sales Summit. Seventy-five members of the sales team came together with a clear focus tied to their theme, “Growth Starts with Us.” Instead of easing into the day, the group kicked things off with a hands-on activity designed to get people interacting right away. The session gave a large, diverse team a chance to connect outside of typical meetings. By the end, the group walked away more in sync and with a shared accomplishment to show for it.

Ivy Rehab Team Build-A-Bike® Brings Team Together at Sales Summit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The event took place at The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia, Autograph Collection, and brought together a mix of Business Development Managers from both orthopedic and pediatric divisions. Senior leaders and sales executives joined in, which added a good mix of experience across the room. Once teams were set, people found themselves working with colleagues they don’t usually interact with. That shift alone changed the dynamic pretty quickly.
From there, things picked up. Teams moved through challenges to earn bike parts, figuring out their approach as they went. Some groups jumped straight into action, while others paused to map things out before making a move. Either way, the room stayed active. Conversations bounced between strategy and quick decisions, with plenty of joking around mixed in. The competition gave everyone something to chase, but it never felt over the top.
As the builds came together, the focus naturally shifted toward the outcome. Each finished bike would be donated through Not My Child, connecting the activity back to the community. Seeing everything lined up at the end gave the group a clear sense of what they had accomplished together. It was a simple way to wrap up the session while reinforcing the summit’s theme without forcing it.
We thank Ivy Rehab for their generous contribution to children in need. We also appreciate Not My Child for supporting families in the community.
