Daikin Applied hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake, MN. Seventy HR professionals from various Daikin locations gathered for a day of fun, teamwork, and giving back to the community. The sunny day provided a perfect backdrop for the event. In it, participants worked together to build bikes for local children in need. All in all, creating lasting memories and fostering stronger connections.

Daikin Applied HR professionals build bikes for children in Prior Lake, Minnesota
This team of HR professionals came together for a dynamic team-building experience. Instructors split the participants into into teams, with each group racing to assemble bicycles as part of a collaborative challenge. Laughter and learning were key components of the day. At the same time, team members strengthened their communication and problem-solving skills. The group’s shared enthusiasm and determination led to the successful completion of 10 bikes. They then donated these bikes to children in need through the Prior Lake Rotary Club.
As a heartwarming conclusion to the event, a local youngster and his mother arrived just after the group photo was taken. The young boy’s radiant smile upon receiving a new bike captured the true impact of the donation. Overall, it underscored the positive influence that Daikin Applied had on the community. Additionally, the Prior Lake Rotary Club representatives expressed their gratitude for Daikin Applied’s generosity, as the bikes would directly benefit local children and families in need.
