AHV International gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Arlington, TX. With fifty participants at the Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington, the event was designed to boost team morale after significant organizational reconfiguration. The sales team, joined by several tech specialists, worked together to build and donate six bicycles to Safehaven, a shelter supporting women and children escaping domestic violence. The event successfully combined team building with charitable giving, reinforcing AHV’s mission of support and service.

The Build-A-Bike® event provided an ideal opportunity for AHV International’s team to strengthen connections during a period of organizational change. Management specifically chose this activity to infuse positivity and purpose into their team meeting. The Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington offered a comfortable setting for the team to engage in this meaningful activity, allowing team members to collaborate in new ways outside their typical work environment.
During the event, the predominantly sales-oriented team, complemented by technical specialists, enthusiastically engaged in the bike-building challenges. As captured in the event photos, participants displayed genuine enjoyment while working together toward a common goal. The collaborative nature of the activity helped bridge gaps between different departments, fostering new connections among team members who may not regularly interact. By building six bicycles for donation, the team contributed directly to Safehaven’s mission of supporting vulnerable women and children, aligning perfectly with AHV’s core values of support and service to the broader community.
