Nibbi Brothers Finish Off BBQ With Bike Build in San Francisco

Nibbi Brothers Finish Off BBQ With Bike Build in San FranciscoNibbi Brothers Construction hosted a charity team building event bike build in San Francisco, CA. More than 150 employees from job sites all across the Bay Area gathered for the company’s large annual Safety BBQ. The day mixed safety training, good food, team connection, and a fast-moving bike build competition into one packed event. After reconnecting with coworkers from different crews and departments, teams shifted into challenge mode and worked together to assemble 20 bicycles for donation. The completed bikes went to Family House, continuing a longtime partnership between the organization and Nibbi Brothers Construction.

Nibbi Brothers Construction has delivered technically complex projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 1950. The company specializes in challenging, sustainable, and logistically demanding construction projects. Nibbi bases its continued success on three guiding principles: The Right Goals, The Right Team, and The Right Approach. Their commitment to strong teamwork and community involvement continues to shape their company culture.

Nibbi Brothers Construction Teams Up for a Charity Bike Build in San Francisco, California

The Safety BBQ felt more like a giant company reunion once everyone arrived at the venue. Crews from across the Bay Area finally had the chance to catch up away from active construction sites while enjoying food and conversations together. After the safety sessions wrapped up, the atmosphere quickly shifted gears. Tables filled with bike parts, teams started organizing strategies, and the competition took off almost immediately. With more than 150 people involved, the room stayed loud, busy, and full of energy from start to finish.

The bike build added a fun competitive edge to the afternoon without losing sight of the bigger purpose behind the event. Teams raced to complete bikes while joking with coworkers and helping each other solve challenges along the way. By the end of the event, the group successfully assembled 20 bikes for Family House. The donation carried extra meaning because Nibbi previously helped build the nonprofit’s facility. Family House supports families with children receiving treatment for serious illnesses by providing housing near hospitals and care centers. That existing relationship made the donation feel personal for many employees and added another layer of connection to the day.

We give a big thank you to Nibbi Brothers Construction for supporting local families through this Build-A-Bike® event. We’d also like to thank Family House for the incredible work they continue to do throughout the San Francisco community.
