The ballroom shifted quickly from conference check-in mode to full activity mode. Teams formed fast, tables filled up, and the noise level climbed almost immediately. Instead of sitting through introductions, participants got to know each other while solving challenges and earning bike parts. With 150 people involved, the room stayed active from every angle. Conversations happened across teams, ideas moved quickly, and people naturally settled into different roles.

Some groups focused on strategy before making a move. Others dove in right away and adjusted as they went. The pace kept everyone engaged, especially because the activity happened before the formal conference agenda began. It gave people a chance to interact without the pressure of meetings or presentations. By the time the bikes started coming together, attendees had already built connections that carried into the rest of the event.

The completed bikes were donated to United Hands Relief, giving the day a practical finish. Seeing the rows of finished bicycles lined up at the end made the group’s effort feel tangible. The donation tied the experience back to the Arlington community without slowing down the upbeat atmosphere. It worked as both a conference kickoff and a shared project that everyone contributed to.

We give a big thank you to Logicalis for supporting the Arlington community through this Build-A-Bike® event. We also appreciate United Hands Relief for helping create a meaningful donation experience.
