It wasn’t even six months back that Suja Life was out at Carlsbad Beach in the California winter chill. Laughing, bonding, and having such a great time that when summer came just a few months later, they decided to do it again. On June 7th, Suja Life hosted their second Build-A-Bike in San Diego at the Spring Hill Suites. This time around they brought 40 participants, some returning from the February before, many more yet brand new. Coming at the very end of the day, and of their 2nd annual operations meeting, folks started exhausted but ended elated. The excitement at the end also came with a healthy serving of purpose as the amazing charity Home Start received Suja Life’s bikes a couple days later. Suja Life is a California-based wellness beverage company founded in 2012. They produce organic, non-GMO, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, and sparkling beverages. Under CEO Maria Stipp, the company has grown via acquisitions of Vive Organic in 2022 and Slice soda in 2024. Suja Life partners with Paine Schwartz Partners and focuses on functional, clean-label drinks sold nationally in stores and online.
Suja Life Builds Even More Happiness and Even More Bonds At Their Second Build-A-Bike in San Diego This Year!
Coming into the late evening after a long, arduous annual operations meeting that week, Suja Life started the Build-A-Bike tired. It didn’t take long though for one half to remember why they loved it in February, and the other half to learn why the other half did. The energy exploded as nuts fit on bolts, wheels fell in slots, and smiles showed up on all forty there. Everyone’s tired Friday evening was now ending on a high note.
And that high note got even sharper when everyone learned that the bikes they’d just built were going somewhere good. Home Start, a spectacular charity out of San Diego that helps protect and help children, was able to take the bikes. While they weren’t able to receive them Friday due to an emergency, the hotel agreed to hold them till Monday. This worked out great and Home Start happily showed up a couple days later to take the bikes!
