Roblox Info-Sec Team Build a Blast at Build-A-Bike in San Jose, CA

The sun was shining, the laughs were flowing, and the wheels were turning on and off the server as the Roblox Info-Sec team hosted a Build-A-Bike in San Jose, California. Seventy team members gathered to connect, compete, and create something meaningful. And after all that hard work? They capped off the day the only way tech pros know how: with a well-deserved rooftop happy hour.

Roblox isn’t just where millions of people build virtual worlds; it’s also where some of the sharpest minds in tech come together. Every day, users log in to play, learn, and create. Behind the scenes, the Roblox Information Security team keeps things safe and secure. They tackle user threats, guard privacy, and now, build bikes like pros too.

Roblox Info-Sec Team Gathers for Rooftop Build-A-Bike in San Jose, California

The Build-A-Bike® event had something for everyone. First came the warm-ups, where laughter echoed across the rooftop. Then, the icebreakers and a cheer contest had even the shyest team members stepping up. Some folks admitted it pulled them out of their comfort zones—but in the best way possible. By the time the wheels and handlebars came out, the group was ready. Ten brand-new bikes came together, with plenty of smiles along the way.

The real heart of the day? Giving back. The finished bikes were donated to the Redwood City PAL Center, an organization that creates opportunities and safe spaces for local kids. Tito, an awesome PAL rep, spoke from the heart about their mission. He also shared a bit about Chaselove, another incredible group focused on youth empowerment. The Roblox team left feeling good about their teamwork, and their impact.

Huge thanks to Roblox for their community spirit, good humor, and willingness to step away from screens to make a difference. Big thanks to Tito and the Redwood City PAL Center too—you’re changing lives every day.
