Continental Tires Leaders Gets Special Bike Build in Fort Mill

Continental Tires Leaders Gets Special Bike Build in Fort MillContinental Tire the Americas gathered 56 leaders from across North and South America for a charity bike build in Fort Mill, SC. The event was part of their Americas Management Meeting, centered on a “One Americas” theme designed to connect leaders and break down silos between regions. Teams competed to build bicycles in Continental’s brand colors, fitted with Continental tires. The finished bikes were donated to local youth.

Continental Tire the Americas is the North and South American division of Continental AG. Continental AG is one of the world’s largest tire and automotive technology companies. The company produces passenger and commercial tires across both continents. It is also a major supplier of automotive technologies in braking, powertrain, and chassis systems. Continental Tire’s Senior Leaders Build Brand-Colored Bikes for Youth at Americas Management Charity Bike Build in Fort Mill

Getting senior leaders from different continents into the same room does not happen often. This gathering was a rare time it did. For such an important day for everyone involved, the team knew it had to be special in every way possible. One of the ways us and Continental Tire did that was by giving everyone a choice. While most chose the charity bike build, everyone also had the option to do an amazing scavenger hunt, letting leaders really feel like they were getting what they wanted during this meet-up.

Another way we made this event especially special was the bikes themselves. They were built in Continental’s brand colors and fitted with Continental tires. That choice turned a standard donation item into something the whole group had a stake in. Teams were not just building bikes, they were building something that carried the brand’s identity out into the community. That makes a difference in how the activity lands.

The barn-style venue with an outdoor, festive atmosphere helped set the right tone. This was not a hotel ballroom event. The setting gave people room to move, compete, and enjoy the afternoon. It matched the spirit of what the meeting was trying to do.

When the bikes went to local youth, leaders from two continents had a shared story to take home. That kind of shared experience is what the “One Americas” theme was built on.

Thank you to Continental Tire the Americas for making room in the management agenda for something this hands-on. The group made the most of it.

Want to bring senior leaders from different regions together around a single, shared experience? A charity bike build gives any international group exactly that.
